1. Purpose of the Platform
BanavatNest operates as a research-driven innovation and collaboration platform. Engagements are exploratory in nature and intended to support research-led problem solving, experimentation, prototyping, and innovation.
2. Originality of Submissions (User Declaration)
Users confirm that any ideas, problem statements, data, documents, or materials shared through the platform are original to the best of their knowledge, or that they possess lawful permission to share them. Users agree not to knowingly submit content copied from proprietary, copyrighted, confidential, restricted, or unauthorized sources.
3. Independent Research and Solution Development
BanavatNest undertakes research, experimentation, and development based on independent scientific, technical, analytical, and collaborative processes. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, solutions, concepts, prototypes, or research outcomes generated through the platform may arise from independent analysis, experimentation, simulations, prototyping, validation, and collaborative exploration.
4. User Responsibility and Non-Infringement
Users agree not to submit content that infringes intellectual property rights, trade secrets, confidentiality obligations, or proprietary rights belonging to others. BanavatNest is not responsible for independently verifying the originality, ownership, legality, or authorization status of user-submitted content.
5. Collaborative and Exploratory Nature (No Guarantee)
Research and innovation activities are inherently exploratory and uncertain in nature. Submission of a problem statement, idea, or collaboration request does not guarantee:
- a complete or implementable solution,
- technical feasibility,
- commercial success,
- patentability,
- regulatory approval, or
- finalized outcomes.
Research activities may result in partial findings, experimental insights, alternative directions, or exploratory outcomes rather than production-ready solutions.
6. Intellectual Property (IP) and Ownership
Ownership, licensing, authorship, acknowledgment, publication rights, commercialization rights, and usage permissions relating to submitted ideas, collaborative work, research outputs, or resulting innovations shall be governed by mutually agreed terms or separate written agreements, where applicable. No transfer of intellectual property rights, exclusivity, partnership, or ownership is implied solely through submission or interaction on the platform.
7. Independent Similar Work Disclaimer
BanavatNest may currently be engaged in, or may independently develop, ideas, methods, technologies, prototypes, or solutions similar to those submitted by users, without obligation or liability, provided no confidential or proprietary information is improperly used.
8. Confidentiality and Formal Agreements
Submission through the platform does not automatically establish a confidential, fiduciary, partnership, employment, or legally protected relationship. If sensitive, proprietary, or confidential disclosure is required, users should request a formal written agreement (such as an NDA) before sharing detailed confidential information.
9. Academic and Research Use
Ideas, problem statements, and research directions shared through the platform may contribute to:
- academic studies,
- student projects,
- prototype development,
- exploratory research, or
- innovation activities.
Any publication, presentation, acknowledgment, or public disclosure arising from such work shall follow responsible and ethical academic and professional practices and, where applicable, mutually agreed terms.
10. Incentivized Micro-Tasks and Contributor Engagement
Where feasible, BanavatNest may assign well-scoped micro-problems, innovation tasks, or research activities to students, scholars, researchers, faculty members, or collaborators. Honoraria, incentives, acknowledgments, timelines, deliverables, and engagement terms may be defined separately for individual activities or collaborations.
11. Right to Accept or Decline Engagement
BanavatNest reserves the right to accept, defer, limit, suspend, or decline any submission, proposal, or engagement based on factors including feasibility, ethical considerations, legal constraints, resource availability, or alignment with organizational objectives and values.
12. Ethical and Responsible Use
Users agree not to use the platform for unlawful, unethical, harmful, deceptive, or malicious purposes. BanavatNest supports responsible research, innovation, technology development, and ethical collaboration practices.
13. No Professional Advice
Any discussions, research insights, technical suggestions, experimental findings, or exploratory recommendations provided through BanavatNest are informational and research-oriented in nature. Such content shall not be construed as legal, financial, medical, regulatory, or other professional advice.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BanavatNest shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or third-party claims arising from:
- the use of submitted content,
- reliance on research outcomes or experimental findings,
- collaboration activities, or
- disputes related to user submissions or intellectual property claims.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
